Life For Rent

On contrary of what I have mentioned earlier in the previous post in regards of my ever worry about deteriorating writing skills, I only worry more about being googled. I noticed on random hop, skip and jump away reading comments given by lecturer anonymously to the student feeling sorry and disappointed about the life the student has chosen; the personal views in my opinion includes such as political ideologies, principle of equal opportunities, ancestry, religious views disability, gender identity, sexual preferences, lifestyles and behaviors and the list goes on.

It should have been a free space, or ultimately a hidden dungeon of evil blabs about the worldly view.

Regardless of that, currently I believe those who are my friends on facebook are somewhat significantly important to me even to the value of less than 5%. Speaking of which, I could possibly stalk them too. Otherwise, I would be contemplating on whether to add or even perhaps ignore, which does not seems to happen yet because at present there are almost 730 friends, 129 friends request and 20 friends suggestion.

Why am I not accepting any of them, yet? I have second thoughts about personal privacy invasion having the fact my life relies on Facebook with all the Mails now going there as well as important Events and Groups I have to manage in order to keep in touch with certain important constituencies I'm involved with, voluntarily or not.

Now, FarmVille is just another addiction. Remember Harvest Moon: Back to Nature? I played that back in late primary school years, and played almost 3 years in real life, 6 years on gaming years. At the end of the day the stupid ol' PSone memory card got corrupted. Utter depression for a long, long period. I'm not a gamer by nature. The only computer game I played seriously was SimCity 4; which was another suggestion by good ol' school TechTv suggested by Leo Laporte if I'm not mistaken or so.

Freakishly enough, you could assume and stereotype what a kind of person a someone could be by looking at the mutual friends. One could be from same school while the other could explain about college but when you have at least 5-7 within the same interest group...

I have no idea what I've just blabed. This is just another insomnia effect I assume. I'm off to watch How I Met Your Mother season 2.

A meeting in the morning, then outing with the students and we will be having buka puasa dinner for 30 people in Nirvana, Bangsar. Yes. 30. We shall see how that will happen.

there's a solution to your facebook dilemma... accept the friend-request, but give them limited access to your account... learned this trick from my cousin who's a little too wild :-P
