Honey Bee

I am a big time procrastinator.

I won some tickets over Twitter contest. =)

And a big forehead too. Orang tua-tua cakap, kalau dahi luas orangnya pandai. Haha.. I doubt it.

This photo bunch are more excited than the other bunch =P

Now that I am home, I just eat and sleep. And do stuff. I'm really bored, so if you happen to be in Penang, jom lepak pekena nasi kandaq!

Anyway, I shall remind myself to write up about the Tioman-Chaotic-Avventura and stuff..

You Rock My World

I am in the world most amazing island of great food.

Will write more later.

Feel lazy. Can or not?

Fire

I was here over the weekend.

And this photo is not mine. Will substitute it later.

Being a naturally dark person, I turn even darker. I was bragging about never getting sun burn. I guess I'm getting it now.

I had a major crisis to go there. Thanks to a fellow blogger, who is a close friend, helped me out on the way.

Love you buddy. I owe you big time.

Just You And Me

Call me a fan, a die hard one maybe? Well, if I ever get to meet Mika, I promise not to update my facebook, or even deactivate it. Its crazy!

She is genuinely adorable and bubbly in person. And humble too. Not those diva-like artist. After all, she started as Indie, no?

Be jealous now, after 3 hours waiting for the concert on Saturday, and 2 hours waiting in line for the autograph, meet and greet sessions on Tuesday.

Colin is back from Deutschland, and we are going to meet up tomorrow. Then on Friday morning, I leave to Tioman.

Whee~

Thanks to the big hair on my head, I probably will be featured in Air Asia in flight magazine and Life in KL blog. (flyfreak, take note. i know you regularly read me when we don't regularly talk as much. please snatch a copy. pretty puhleassee! =])

Big Big World

Perhaps I shall not work with the call center, considering even if its a part time job working hour is from 9am until 6pm. And worse, you get paid only with successful interviews a month and half later.

I think I shall go for the barista, knowing the fact in recent semester Branding class most assignments were Starbucks related and also the fact that I love saying the favorite Starbucks sophistication mantra.. why not?

Zee Avi concert was ultimatum fun. Its too bad I didn't get to go to Kings of Convenience concert though.

Travel bug is back, and this is the only semester I am so broken, and not traveling abroad.

Or I may just.

This weekend, I will be heading to Tioman for a class trip and then back home to my very own greatest island of scrumplicious food. When I get back to the city, I might head down south of the country to visit a close friend, and perhaps hop into the country next to it.

My passport is expiring soon, I just need some new stamps to fill the passport.

I just told another friend the wackiest reason to get a job.

Me: I need a job.
Cheryl: Yeah, you really will fit best for the job since you love coffee and all!
Me: No, seriously. I need to get a job because I need to get a Marc Jacob bag.
Cheryl: *Laugh out loud* Yes, people need a job to earn for a living. You need a job to get a Marc Jacob bag. *Laugh even more*

I'm really that crazy, huh.

I regularly go to the airport to watch plane. And this is really random.

I'm kinda broke until I get my study loan pocket money, which is forever slow.

And the Starbucks mantra is; "Caramel Macchiato, Cold, Less Ice, Triple Shot with Soy Milk".

Kantoi

The concert is uber amazing.

Who would have knew, a typical indie gig, turned into full house crowd concert?

Its amazing.

Had great time with friends, who are like from secondary school, college, AFS and blogger together. We even hung out together at Starbucks Pavilion later on. I never knew that my friends can get along well with one another, even if they never knew one another in the beginning. Why am I saying such? Because some friends, back then just don't get along well with one another back then..

Anyway..

Gotta love her.

I'm out of voice, for screaming out loud. I bought 4 tickets and won a Twitter contest which comes with 2 tix and a CD. Too bad, at the very end, I had an extra 1 tix.

Its an amazing performance, irregardless.

Anyhow..

So, next time, friends, whatever you are, whoever you are, wherever you come from, we shall hang out and spend some quality time, ok?

Papercut

I need paper. I'm out of those Double A supply.

I got a job offer at a market research call center. I used to work at one, around Maybank Tower. However, it has moved to BU. Now this new one is offering, but slightly lower pay per hour. The previous one was the highest paid call center per hour.

Need to pause on Barista dream.

Need to print resume too. I should've printed a few, but then again the resume gets updated ever so frequently.

Why am I out of paper now?

I need to print tickets to Zee Avi concert tomorrow night. I bought 4 tickets. And I just won another 2 over Twitter contest.

Gotta love my Tweetdeck.

I've bloghopped a bit more, rather slowly. I realized that my post Labels are too regularly on Complication(s), and I should stop making things complicated.

I Wish You Love

Now that I am done with exam, I rather feel empty.

No celebration, since everyone else left home while I was doing my last paper. The campus is empty too. Only filled with foreigners.

I'm going to Zee Avi concert this Saturday, and a Creative Talk with Jo Kukathas on Monday. Tioman class trip is gonna be on this Thursday night if I'm not mistaken.

Semester break has never been this boring. Or maybe its because I'm slightly being frugal-almost broke. Typically I would fly somewhere but not this time. Sigh.

Need to save money for new passport too. I still have my 10-year business visa to US due to the failure of flying there for the conference (got the visa a little too late) and need to save money for round the world trip right when I finish my diploma next March.

Please, please someone message me because I'm too bored. Haha..

Tomorrow, I shall go and apply to be a barista. Whooot whoot!

Shiver

I am done from exam. For this semester.

I feel good.

However, due to the whole busyness, I tend to not realize things that had happened in between.

A dear friend of mine, Kak Ruby Ahmad has passed away on Tuesday and I only found out today through Marina Mahathir's blog.

Other tributes to Ruby Ahmad:

Nuraina Samad's
Pibani's
Elviza's
Kak Teh's

Initially I did not believe it, until I looked out for more tributes for her. It is her.

She will forever be missed. We first got to know each other through this blog of mine, in fact the previous, now defunct blog of mine. She was astonishingly supportive in my ideas and thoughts about life, and never dismiss them, never mind disgrace any. We never get to meet, but she has always been a kind of silent guardian always wishing my life is in good hands in whatever I do and wherever I go.

An amazing lady in person, just too graceful in anything she does. She will always be remembered, and will never forget her.

Al Fatihah.

I'm Like A Bird

Well apparently, I can continue staying in hostel. Don't know why, but must definitely thank the small petite abang who works in the accommodation department. When I first met him with such snub face he told me off I couldn't stay and the next day while having lunch, he came to me after tapau-ing his own lunch and said;

Mr Kamal: "Nak bayar hostel kan? Skang dah boley dah. Baru dapat info this morning"

I'm beyond joy!

I can apply to work as Barista without worrying about transportation.

I can go to the city regularly without worrying about transportation.

I can volunteer as usual without worrying about transportation.

I can attend US Embassy function without worrying about transportation.

I can go to yoga classes without worrying about transportation.

Whooooot whoooooot.

Best of all, I don't have to worry about moving my trash out from my room.

I called them Kreativ (organized) Mess. However, this photos resemble June 2009. Its much worse today. I feel sorry for my roomate.

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window

I went to pay for my hostel fees and was instead told to evacuate my room for the future 1st year students.

Its rather unfair, methinks looking at those seniors who have been staying in the campus for more than few years as they also seemed to be mingling around doing nothing and they even own cars.

What more, me, the ultimately hobo, who is forever desperate and in need to rely on public transportations.

I'm lost in limbo.

Why?

The content of my room is more than any typical-average college students would be. My room is like a home, filled with piles of books and magazine, and my wardrobe is overcrowded with clothes.

Nevermind the bottles I collect for recycling purposes. Everything seemed to be mounting in mess too now that I'm just too busy with exams.

Ultimately, I worry about logistic. My parents are offering my dad's Waja, but it just breakdown a lot. Go figure.

I'm lost in limbo.

I fear not being able to enjoy the privilege of waking up 5 minutes before class starts anymore in the most comfortable, ground floor room in the campus.

Footnote:

Never step into that University College in Jalan Serdang-Kajang, if you ever plan to study in wonderful place that has in-campus housing. It may be cheap with so much of advertisement and that huge-ass billboard over the walkway across Petaling Street, but the infrastructure is horrible mess.

They may own the right of maintenance of roads in most main roads in the country and perhaps be profiting from everywhere, and renown to be the so-called best in Civil Engineering (which isn't anything I'm studying anyway). However, they sucks in maintaining the infrastructure in the campus, and not able to provide sufficient accommodation for everyone.

Bottomline, just don't make a big mistake like I did. There are better place for education, even if they are money/for-profit base. At least they know the students need and pay attention to it (some, at least). And don't bother talking about public universities. I don't even belong there.

Down The River

I am a terrible person.

Ignore my previous post, or more humiliatingly, ignorant thoughts.

What do you do when the one you think you care for most, is in the edge of his or her life, due to chronic unavoidable disease?

A person with cancer, or certain blood sickness has cure right?

What if the doctor said there is chances of living for another 15 years, when usually its less than 5 years?

Unfortunately, the strength has weaken.

What kind of support should be given asides from emotional support?

If you have any experience, or know someone or has knowledge in these matter, we need to talk.

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow

Well, you thought you were so in love with someone when the feeling and affection was all time high.

However, its just getting no nowhere, and perhaps disappearing.

Maybe love really happens when you least expected it, and my expectation was as expected?

I don't know. I'm in the midst of giving up. Its been like this since secondary school. The first ever didn't work out, and we became good friends still. Now, she is in Russia.

Maybe I'm just not good enough regardless of how much effort I already put and the pain and sacrifices.. is now no longer worth it?

How could a person who was just forever there, suddenly becomes too busy for you.

Sigh.

Maybe I'm best having nothing?

I designed this for final project, but was deliberately not given good comments.

Crushed, literally felt.

I give up on dreaming having to do anything with advertising. Is it a goodbye, Leo Burnett?

I should go to bed now.

Sing, Sing, Sing

I get my sitemeter count mailed to me every Monday.

I did not see it entirely but briefly.

I have an average between 10-15 people stumbling into this evil dungeon of secret words of desire and mystery. More or less, a whine arena.

And to that, I thank you for being interested in my ever confusing, complicated with ginormous complexity of substances of my secretive, never ending miserable yet excitingly funny life.
