On Sunday, I went to Wangsa Walk with Yah Tyng and Joyce because we wanted to see how the World AIDS Day was like since we heard Tun Dr. M was going to officiate it.
Much to our disappointment, of me coming all the way from Bangi, Joyce from Bandar Tun Razak and Yah Tyng from Teluk Gadong thinks the event was too racially based. Perhaps the volunteers were from a single race and wouldn't approach different race due to shyness and fear or godknows whatever reason they may come up to. We firmly believe that this celebration should be a globalized event where it involved all kind of people from every kind of background.
Apparently, it looked more like a promo event for some Mandarin speaking artists. Everything were in Mandarin.
Big sigh.
We had Popeyes before heading to the shameful arena of disappointment and decided to go to KLCC for PC Fair which happened to be a great bargain day out. I got a Logitech Laser Mouse (which made me broke later on) while Tyng got 2, and a whole bunch of stuff for her relatives whom pre-ordered right when they found out she was going to the PC Fair. Shamefully, I had not enough money to get Seagate external HD for my sister.
Headed to Kinokuniya, the dream but overpriced bookstore for most Bolehlanders. We headed Nando's later since we craved for it earlier the day since we don't fancy Kenny Rogers and prefer Peri-peri stuff.
It was a such gleeful and joyous day, absolutely stress free plus slightly hobo since we wandered a bit hunting for taxi around Wangsa Walk which is the kind of place we never been to and wouldn't want to get lost around. At least I got an American Eagle polo for RM11 from Factory Outlet Store warehouse sale which supposed to cost around RM45 or even around USD39 for the real deal. At least the trip to that part of the world wasn't such a waste.
I feel so much better than last week.
Suddenly I have so much of idea flowing too.
Later that night, I went to Hentian Putra bus station for the first time ever. Back then when I was younger and when dad used to earn more our family stayed regularly in Pan Pacific which is famous for its water-shooting-sprinkle toilet. I went there to meet up with an online friend for the first time whom I promised earlier the week to accompany him and hunt for a room to rent since he just got a job around SS2. However, the plan did not work out really since he found a room in Pandan Jaya. I've had the impression that he may be rather unsure of places around the city but apparently he knows the ghetto much better! Cititel Express has been a favorite stopover, which undeniably a slightly nicer place to stay in Chow Kit.
Got back to college safely, thankfully survived early LRT and did not miss the dumb shuttle bus which commonly leaves earlier; right the moment when I exit the station.
I'm looking forward for better days ahead, despite being rather broke and already trying to save a bit.
Life is expensive therefore get rid of all ATM cards!
haha, well looks like you have a real productive day indeed! :D aids day, pc fair, kinokuniya, bus station, wow :)
