This is going to be dreadful, long post. Brace yourself if you are even interested in this adventure.
I've been having rather interesting days lately. For a start, the ultimate IKEA meatballs partner-in-crime came home for a 6 days from Perth to celebrate Ramadan with her family. We've known each other because we went to Egypt together for 2 months and back then she was not as friendly as she is amazingly now.
We have always been having meatballs together in IKEA each time I go around that part of the state because it somewhat became our friendship annual monthly rituals. It became so serious to the point when she was in Beijing for Mandarin course for 3 months, I did not had any meatballs at all even to the point when I visited IKEA, I did not have any appetite to eat nor having thoughts of it at all. Anyway, I got home today with the meatballs. Although I did not have it there together with her due to fasting, its still significant enough to buy it with her. It made my day complete.
It was a short meet up with her but at least its still something. I went back earlier today and managed to get a piece of bubur lambuk from Masjid Jamek since I was on transit to Putra to Star (nevermind new names, I prefer the old names best). I started having it since Monday after a series of last minute adventure that took place that day.
On Monday, I woke up late as it was a public holiday. I eventually missed my breakfast in the morning as well. Being in college all alone was not entire fun thus at the very 11th hour I decided to get dressed and hop on the shuttle bus and off I went to the city. As I went out from the station I saw people carrying bags of porridge like and eventually it clicked my diluted brain of the sleepless night that; there is a mosque-in Ramadan there are free food giveaway! Off I went inside to grab a pack and moved on towards my next planned destination- CapSquare.
I had to walk through my mum ever favorite shopping arena and it was congested with aunties and uncles and little children hunting for their baju raya on the very public holiday. I had notification on my Google Reader that there was big sale on Hugo Boss, Emergildo Zegna and Tommy Hilfiger there. Much to my disappointment, there was only Cerutti blazers and a whole lot bunch of formal, oversized clothing which rather is not appropriate for my humble size. I did spot a John Galliano jeans in ladies department but that was it. Nothing else.
Truly disappointed, I headed then to the twin tower to hunt for the Zara shoes I saw back on Saturday in Pavilion. It was astonishingly ONLY 70 bucks. And I did not purchase it considering the fact it was not as perfectly looking and was a size bigger too. I have been contemplating on getting one and decided to see if there is any still available. Unfortunately, the twin tower branch of Zara has never been a particular favorite because the tall dude who works there is such snob. I left, jumped into Topman to browse and off to GAP as well. Neither any was considerably a good hunt.
Off I went to Pavilion. Nope. Its gone. Pfft.
Instead, I got myself a white short sleeve shirt and a red scarf. I knew it was not a great deal after all knowing I could have gotten any Zara shirt in Factory Outlet Store, however I was displeased with the misery of going all the way and thus got one anyway to please my ever crazy hunting adventure. I have been known as a scarf person with the big curly hair but lately, I have not been wearing any. It feels awkward too sometime.
It was almost time to break fast. I was all alone. I have spent too much for the day and decided to have the ever favorite mee goreng mamak in Jalan Alor (Whichever idiot initially wanted to rename it into Jalan Kejora is still a complete asshole). Coming from the great island that produces best hawker food in the country, this street of gastronomical adventure never disappoint, except there was more pork to offer than any Halal meal. Thankfully, there is one for me still.
I spent an hour inside the ghetto, lala mall for an hour before grabbing a dozen of Krispy Kreme and headed back to college later.
Yours truly will be featured on national television news on either the 4th or 6th. Watch out, I will explain more later.
I told you, this is a long dreadful post.
