A Journey Through Hell

After performing in Nasyid, and loosing in the competition (which doesn't really matter because we were special, singing song in English about Gaza) I took off for quick break with friends and back to the comfort of my room and had a quick sleep of 4 hours. I woke up at 7.30am on Thursday, having Islamic Studies presentation waiting for me to settle and successfully done it with great bunch of teammates. All was done by 10.30 and we had a quick break or more or less early lunch until about noon and I went for a short nap before class starts at 1pm.

We had drama going on with our society establishment, and the drama continued until 6pm and by the time I got back to my room I was distracted with a million other things to do and rushed for the meeting at 8pm. It went on until about 10pm and I went back to my room to pack up. I headed back to the cafe to have chat and tension releasing moment with friends and so much of laughter we had while waiting for other friends to finish up their assignments.

We headed to Prima Avenue by 1am, and was there until it was almost 5.30am. It was one of he most productive pillow talk ever in my life. It became a sort of informal meeting and brainstorming sessions, and I think it should and might just would be done on regular basis. We got back at the hostel by about almost 6-something am and was there until it was sunrise.
More chat and gibberish joke were flying among us.

My friend sent me to the main bus station which is a sort of nightmare of my life since I usually frequent the Old Railway Station bus hub but I had to rush back to the great Prince of Wales Island for a driving school appointment. I arrived by 2pm, got ready by 3pm and headed straight until 6pm. Its mum's birthday as well so we had a kind of celebration more or less by having everyone home. I only slept at about 3am.

We had a great nasi kandar breakfast the next morning and I continued to laze the day and made my sister bring me to get some name tags and lanyard in Nanyang on Carnavon Street. Love this old shop, and bargained with the uncle and had dirt cheap discounts. Headed home, slept, again.

Its been somewhat unproductive weekend with too much of sleep but the best part I get to spend time with my family. On Sunday morning I headed to Tanjung Marina in between Church Street Pier and Weld Quay for AFS Penang Chapter Launch. It was fun to see something from Penang is on and meeting old friends is just pleasant. I was brought home by Yelena's parents and we stopped by Rope Walk for some fruits. Having my sister ever-amazing DSLR I snapped as much as I could.

Lazed in home until now and I have right about 1 more hour before I leave this great island. Big sigh. Back to the ever sinful, ever evil, ever fast, ever imperfect city.
