I've came here with $220 and still have a balance of $50. The only place I've splurge was in Mustafa Department Store, which is a bargain deal like Mydin back home. And the total damage was about $64.
I didn't get the Cotton On dark blue checkered shirt which is sold out in Pavilion, but heck. I got a nice army sling bag in olive color for $10. I wanted the one in khaki like my friends who got his from his NS but nevermind lah.. The uncle at the army shop must have been color-blind or something.
Couchsurfing is very recommended. It saves the trouble of renting accommodation especially in this expensive city island country. Gotta love the MRT and fast escalator in the station. If only the KTM could ever catch up the speed. Love the host I'm staying with in Clementi. Such great family life to experience here. I now question about hospitality back home when here seems so much nicer, somehow.
Too bad I don't get to visit 2 of my friends. Its been such short trip with so many things done at the same time.
Off to repack my small duffle bag. Gonna hobo-ing in airport again, but the good news is its Changi!
Yippie! )
never been there
ReplyDeletebut the reality malaysia transport suck is correct
Omg, remember the look on our faces bila naik escalator tu for the first time! Lawak kot!
ReplyDeletea balance of $50 is still a lot wat~

joegrimjow: its a great city. enough said!
ReplyDeletela.leche: omg i naik escalator kat airport tu asyik teringat kat you la kot!
Januskies: why do i want to market a personal blog?
Ed: hahaha, $50=RM120? I would have shopped but somehow I gained my control on NOT splurging. I can't sell my body because I'm not attractive enough, and doubt it could be enough to get me an LV Daimler Graphite. Hahaha!
