Radio GaGa

Currently I am in Phnom Penh and absolutely broke since the lecturer was supposed to bank-in my money for the class trip back in February did not bank-in on time. Thankfully, supermom is kind enough to loan of which I will definitely return it back.

Four days in Saigon has been amazing, especially when one fly with MH758 and getting all the amazing hospitality. Gotta love FA Zarina and Naeem - he said "becareful, its really hot"over the delicious Beef Satay with Nasi Tomato meal. I thought they would have been stucked up but they were really friendly towards the entire journey.

I even met the Captain who happened to be an Old Frees as well. Perhaps, the overwhelming moment in the cockpit risen up my body temperature where at the airport the heat sensor machine detected yellowness instead of green over me and the security stopped me on the side.

I was terrified because I was then suspected to have fever - which is terrible since I have just landed on my first destination of my backpacking trip. I was put on the quarantine section for 10 minutes with Fly Boy while Kak Sofia, Miss Reporter and Miss Korea as well as The Other Deutsch waited for us across the immigration counter.

"Its the longest 10 minutes in my life," said Fly Boy.

Then thankfully we were released and continued our amazing adventure in Saigon where firstly we all almost died crossing the road and eventually got used with the traffic which seemed to be more of Rempit Heaven. 10 million people in the city, 6.5 million motorcycles.

We went around the city and even to the Cu Chi (pronounced Koo-Chee) where the Viet Cong Liberation Army is based and fought the Americans.

I'm not supposed to write anything down here since I'm supposed to be on travel mode. However, the availability of internet connectivity has trapped me.

Genocide Museum has been too disturbing and I have mixed feelings about going to the Killing Fields tomorrow. I will be leaving to Ancient City tomorrow noon for even more adventures.
